Kyogo Furuhashi returned to Celtic training on Monday morning as the Hoops prepare to host Real Madrid in Champions League action.
The prolific Japan forward was taken off following a shoulder knock in the opening minutes of the 4-0 win over Rangers on Saturday.
But it looks as though he will be back in contention for a place in the starting line up against the European champions on Tuesday night.
The 27-year-old scored six goals in the opening five Premiership games including a hat-trick in the 9-0 demolition of Dundee United at Tannadice and would be a major boost to Ange Postecoglou to have him available for the group opener.
Pictures from Celtic’s training session at Lennoxtown on Monday showed the forward taking part in full training and not showing any sign of the injury that saw him replaced with Giorgios Giakoumakis around three minutes into Saturday’s derby.
However Carl Starfelt, who was also taking off during the Rangers game, was missing from training and could be a doubt for Tuesday.
The Swedish defender, who has just recently returned from injury, was replaced by Moritz Jenz at around the hour mark of the game at Celtic Park.
