Liam Donnelly has signed a two-year contract with Kilmarnock and will remain at the club until 2025.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined from Motherwell on a one-year deal last summer and made 27 appearances for the Ayrshire club on their return to the Premiership.
The Northern Ireland international will now link back up with Derek McInnes’ squad ahead of this weekend’s league opener against Rangers at Rugby Park.
Kilmarnock finished in 10th place last season, six points ahead of Ross County in the relegation play-off spot and nine points ahead of bottom side Dundee United.
Donnelly’s signing was revealed on Thursday.
A statement released on Twitter said: “Liam Donnelly rejoins the squad ahead of Saturday’s league opener after penning a new two-year deal with the club.”
