The draw for the first two rounds of this season’s SPFL Trust Trophy has taken place, with the teams that kick off the tournament learning their first opposition.
The competition welcomes teams from below the Premiership, as well as B teams from 11 top flight clubs.
Later in the competition, teams from outside Scottish football are invited, with Welsh and Irish teams entering at the third round.
Round 1 is played between the Premiership B teams who entered, the top four sides from both the Highland and Lowland Leagues, and the sides that finished 8th-10th in League 2 last season.
Games in the opening round will be played on August 9/10.
The second round see the remaining League 2 sides join the competition, as well as the bottom two sides from last season’s League 1 along with the first round winners. Those ties will be played on August 23/24.
