Motherwell have announced the signing of midfielder Blair Spittal on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old was available after leaving Ross County, where he played a part in the Dingwall side reaching the top six last season.
Spittal, who began his career in Rangers youth teams before playing for Queen’s Park, Dundee United and Partick Thistle, will now aim to make his mark at Motherwell.
Manager Graham Alexander said that the player’s versatility was one of many traits that impressed him and prompted him to sign the player.
“We are very happy to bring Blair to our club and add to our attacking options,” Alexander said.
“He was one of several standouts at Ross County in 2021-22 and displayed great versatility, which enhanced our ambition to sign him.
“He also showed a real positive attitude to signing for us when we first met, and we’re all looking forward to working with him.”
