Celtic have beaten Glasgow City to set up an Old Firm final against Rangers in the Scottish Women’s Cup.

Natasha Flint scored the only goal of the game at the national stadium in a hard-fought match between two of the top sides in the country.

Celtic took the lead after 18 minutes when Caitlin Hayes played a long ball through the middle and Flint raced on to slot the ball into the net.

City pushed for an equaliser but found Celtic goalkeeper Pamela Tajonar in inspired form, making three key saves at crucial moments.

Celtic had Natalie Ross sent off in the final moments but held on to book their place in the final on May 28.

They will meet a Rangers side who won 2-0 against Motherwell in the first of the semi-finals, which took place at the national stadium for the first time. Hannah Davidson and Chelsea Cornet scored the goals for Rangers.
