New Celtic signing Kyogo Furuhashi is in Ange Postecoglou’s squad to play Hearts in their Premiership opener.

The Japan international signed from J1-League club Vissel Kobe earlier this month but has had to wait to join to squad due to quarantine rules.

The 26-year-old forward starts the game on the bench as the Hoops travel to Tynecastle for a 8pm kick-off.

Defender Carl Starfelt starts the game to make his debut for the visitors.

Winger James Forrest comes back into the starting line-up as does Nir Bitton who was suspended for the defeat in Denmark midweek.

Bain keeps his place in goals behind a back four of Ralston, Starfelt, Bitton and Taylor.

Callum McGregor captains the side beside Ismaela Soro and David Turnbull in midfield with a front three of Forrest, Abada and Edouard.

Former Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon captains the newly promoted hosts behind Smith, Souttar, Halkett Banningime, Halliday, Cochrane, Ginnelly, Mackay-Steven and Boyce.
