Steve Clarke has named his Scotland squad for the friendly against Turkey, with Celtic players left out ahead of their club trip to Australia.
The national team squad is being called together for their final game of 2022, which will allow the manager to begin his planning for the European Championship qualifiers next year.
Though Celtic captain Callum McGregor is a long-term injury absentee, team-mates Greg Taylor, Anthony Ralston and David Turnbull would normally have been in the reckoning for a call-up but their trip down under for a tournament in Sydney has seen them left out.
Liverpol’s Calvin Ramsay has been called up for the first time with Aaron Hickey injured and Ralston unavailable.
Scotland captain Andy Robertson is back in the squad after injury, as is Ryan Jack, who has missed Rangers’ recent games.
Everton full-back Nathan Patterson is also included after suffering injury during the last international camp, while Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly has also been called up.
