Dundee’s Paul McGowan has signed a new contract with the club, agreeing to extend his stay until the summer of 2023.
The veteran attacker was in the last six months of his current deal but has agreed another season with the Premiership side.
McGowan, who was instrumental in Dundee’s promotion from the Championship last season, has continued to make a contribution in the top flight for James McPake’s side. The 34-year-old has made 23 appearances so far and has scored twice.
The contract extension comes a day after Lee Ashcroft signed a new contract with the club.
Dundee have yet to make a signing in the January transfer window and no players have left Dens Park, though a decision is expected on Leigh Griffiths’ future, with the on-loan Celtic striker possibly returning to his parent club.
