The 30-year-old midfielder, who started his career at Manchester United and has also played for Oxford United and Blackburn Rovers, is now set to move to Ibrox on a permanent deal.

Former England international defender Coady played 26 times for Leicester last season as they were relegated from the English top-flight.

Rangers have signed three players this summer, with Oscar Cortes turning his loan into a permanent deal, Lyall Cameron joining on a Bosman from Dundee, and Max Aarons signing a season-long loan.
