Rangers have defeated Hearts for the third time in just over a month to take all three points from the Premiership clash at Tynecastle.
Philippe Clement keeps his undefeated run going with the eighth win from his first eleven games since replacing Michael Beale in October.
On loan Brighton forward Abdallah Sima kept up his early season form as he scored his seventh of the season to give the Ibrox side a 1-0 win in a hard fought game in Edinburgh.
Both teams had chances in a frantic first-half as they looked to get the all important first goal.
Rangers had Jack Butland to thank for keeping them level when he made a brilliant save from a close range Lawrence Shankland effort.
Danilo had the ball in the net for the visitors but the goal was ruled out for offside after 25 minutes gone.
But the deadlock was broken soon when Sima latched on to a through ball from James Tavernier and raced in on goal before slotting it past Zander Clark to make it 1-0.
Danilo looked certain to double the lead in first-half injury-time but this time Clark was on hand to keep it out.
The visitors started to dominate the game after the restart with Danilo and Yilmaz both coming close to doubling their lead in the opening stages of the second half.
The Brazilian’s effort was cleared off the line after he was first to react when Clark dropped a cross before the Turkish left-back’s shot was inches wide of the post.
Butland was then called in to action soon up the other end after and he produced another stunning save to deny a close range Kenneth Vargas effort with around 20 minutes.
Hearts made a late push for the equaliser but were unable to really test Butland again as the Rangers defence kept them at bay and hold on for the three points.
