Rangers are hopeful of concluding the signings of two new transfer targets.
The Ibrox club are looking to bring in Luton Town midfielder Thelo Aasgaard and Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Nasser Djiga.
It comes after they announced the double signing of Joe Rothwell from Bournemouth and Peterborough United defender Emmanuel Fernandez on Wednesday.
Aasgaard was born in England but has been capped for Norway at every level from under-16s to senior, where he made his first appearance earlier this year.
He joined Luton from Wigan Athletic last season and Rangers are now hoping to bring him in on a permanent deal.
Djiga, who has played in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Serbia, plays internationally for Burkina Faso and will join Rangers on loan if they can get the deal over the line.
His signing will not impact the pursuit of Leicester City defender Connor Coady, who remains a target for Russell Martin.
