Rangers have made three changes to their Europa League squad for the competition’s knockout stages.

The Ibrox side qualified directly to the last-16 after finishing in the top eight of the league phase, meaning they don’t have to play a playoff game this month.

All 24 clubs that reach the next stage are allowed to make three changes to their squad, and Philippe Clement has taken full advantage by bringing a trio of new faces into the mix.

The manager has decided to include Danilo, Ianis Hagi and Clinton Nsiala for the rest of their games in the tournament that will begin with a last-16 clash in March.

That means their only January signing, Rafael Fernandes, will miss out, as the defender has not been named to the 21-man roster.

Neraysho Kasanwirjo, Oscar Cortes and Kieran Dowell have all dropped out, with Dowell having left on loan to Birmingham City and the other two being currently injured.

In addition to the 21-man A-squad, they also have a B-list of available players who have come through the club’s youth ranks, including Ross McCausland, Bailey Rice, and Leon King.

Rangers will play either FC Twente, Bodo/Glimt, Fenerbahce or Anderlecht in the last-16.
