Rangers defender Ross McCrorie – who is currently out on loan – has tested positive for coronavirus.
The 22-year-old, who is on the books at Portsmouth this season, is the fifth player at the English League One side to be diagnosed with Covid-19.
McCrorie and the four other players – James Bolton, Andy Cannon, Haji Mnoga and Sean Raggett – had displayed mild or no symptoms.
A statement from Portsmouth said: “All five players displayed mild or no symptoms, but are self-isolating in accordance with government guidelines.
“The club are now waiting on the results of one more test, which is for a member of the backroom team.
“We urge everyone to continue following government advice to help limit the spread of this virus.
“Stay at home. Protect the NHS. Save lives.”
