Rangers bounced back from a difficult week in style as Danny Rohl’s side eased to a 3–0 win over Dundee at Dens Park in the William Hill Premiership.
Early goals from Nico Raskin and Mikey Moore put the visitors firmly in control before Djeidi Gassama added a late third to secure all three points and restore some confidence ahead of the international break.
The Light Blues, who suffered defeats to Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final and Roma in Europe over the past week, made the perfect start when Raskin headed home unmarked from a James Tavernier corner after just nine minutes.
Teenage forward Moore, back in the starting line-up, doubled the lead five minutes later with a superb curling finish from the edge of the box, his first goal for the club.
The 18-year-old thought he had added a second before the break, smashing in from close range, but VAR ruled out the strike for offside against Mohamed Diomande.
Dundee, who had threatened early through an Ethan Hamilton free-kick well saved by Jack Butland, grew into the game after the interval, but Rangers remained largely comfortable.
Butland dealt well with efforts from substitute Simon Murray, while Dundee keeper Jon McCracken denied Raskin a second with a fine save.
In stoppage time, Gassama put the result beyond doubt, cutting inside from the right and curling a brilliant shot high into the net to seal a deserved win.
Pre-match, Rangers supporters unveiled a striking “Lest We Forget” Tifo in tribute to Remembrance Day, followed by a perfectly observed minute’s silence.
The victory, Rohl’s third straight league win since replacing Russell Martin, narrows the gap to Premiership leaders Hearts to 12 points, with a game in hand.
