Rangers have confirmed the signing of Max Aarons on a season-long deal.
The 25-year-old right-back joins from English Premier League side Bournemouth for the duration of the 2025/26 campaign.
There is no option to buy the defender, who joined the Cherries in a £7m transfer that could rise to £12m, included in the deal, and he will return south when the loan deal ends.
He becomes the Ibrox club’s third summer signing following the pre-contract acquisition of Lyall Cameron from Dundee and the permanent transfer of Oscar Cortes, who spent last season at Ibrox on loan.
Rangers confirmed the deal on Wednesday as new head coach Russell Martin continues to build his squad in preparation for next month’s Champions League qualifiers against Panathinaikos.
Aarons, who spent the second half of last season on loan to Valencia, said: “I am delighted to be here, as you can see it’s a huge club and you realise that when you walk through the doors, I can’t wait to get going.
“I’ve got a lot of experience now in different leagues and I have played a lot of games. I think I can bring that experience, I can bring a new energy, and I think Rangers fans can be excited – I am really looking forward to it.”
