Philippe Clement has named his starting line-up for their Europa League game against Sparta Prague.
Rangers host the Czech side at Ibrox on Thursday night in their fourth group game in this season’s competition.
They have four points from the first three games after recording one win, one draw and a defeat.
Clement remains undefeated at Rangers since replacing Michael Beale in the dugout last month and has won three out of three in the league and reached the first final of the season with a League Cup semi-final victory over Hearts at the weekend.
In his only European game so far he took a hard earned point against Sparta in Prague a fortnight ago.
The likes of Nico Raskin, Scott Wright and John Souttar are missing through injury for the return game in Glasgow with Leon Balogun and Ridvan Yilmaz not included in the European sqaud.
Rangers start with Butland in goals behind a back four of Tavernier, Goldson, Davies and Barisic.
John Lundstram anchors a midfield three beside Ryan Jack with Todd Cantwell hoping to supply the ammunition for a forward line of Abdallah Sima, Sam Lammers and Danilo.
Rangers currently sit third in Group C, behind Sparta on goal-difference and two points behind group leaders Real Betis.
They have still to play Cypriot side Limassol at home and Betis in Sevilla in their final group game.
