Rangers are through to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after a 1-0 win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
A goal from left-back Borna Barisic was enough to win the game for the cup holders who remain unbeaten since they changed managers during the mid-season break.
With their supporters occupying three of the four stands and around 7,000 in attendance, it felt more like a home game for the Glasgow side.
Barisic opened the scoring just before half-time to give Michael Beale’s side a lead going into the break.
It’s only the fourth time they have scored the opening goal in the nine games since the former QPR manager replaced Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
And they managed to hold out to secure their place in the draw for the next round that will take place on Monday night.
