Ricki Lamie has completed a move to Ross County days after cancelling a planned switch to Dundee.
The defender was a free agent after his Motherwell contract expired and had been set to move to Dens Park but it was revealed last week that his pre-contract agreement had been terminated by mutual agreement.
Lamie has now settled his future by signing a two-year deal with County and moving to Dingwall to be part of manager Don Cowie’s squad for the new season.
Cowie said: “We are delighted Ricki has joined the club.
“Ricki has a wealth of experience in Scottish football and has leadership qualities that will be a great addition to our football club.”
The 31-year old began his career at Airdrieonians, making his debut back in 2012, and has gone on to play for a number of Scottish clubs, notably Livingston and Motherwell before a loan spell at Dundee last season where he helped the team to a top-six finish.
