Barry Robson has hit out at officials after his team were denied three points by an injury-time penalty call against Rangers.
The frustrated Aberdeen boss says the Ibrox side getting “another” late VAR call in their favour “doesn’t look good” and revealed he told the referee “I hope you have got it right”.
He says that there have been “too many bad decisions in Scotland” and that his club would be higher up the table without them.
James Tavernier scored in the 93rd minute to salvage a point for Philippe Clement’s men after Bojan Miovski had put them 1-0 behind in the first-half.
The spot-kick was awarded for a shirt-pull on Connor Goldson after the Nick Walsh was called over to the monitor and Robson worries that “we are in the trouble if this is the way it’s going to go”.
After the game he said: “At the VAR meeting there was a lot of talk about pulling shirts, and I think the referees all said that not every one is a penalty when there is a pull of the shirt inside.
“Stefan got blocked, I think we all seen that, but obviously have just not bothered taking a look at the block and just looked at the pull of the shirt.
“I think we are in trouble if this is the way it’s going to go.
“For me it just doesn’t look good another VAR decision going for Rangers in the 90th minute again, it doesn’t look good.
“I’m just frustrated. So many decisions have went against us this season and I think we could be sitting in a much better than we are. But we keep going.”
The former Scotland midfielder had words with Walsh after the game and he revealed what he said to the official.
Robson continued: “I said to the referee ‘I hope you got it right’.
“There’s been too many wrong decisions in Scotland and I think he took a long look at the monitor, but I’m not going to get into that.
“What I feel I can’t say, so let’s just talk about how good my team was today.”
