Celtic have defeated Ross County 4-1 to stretch their lead at the top of the Premiership to 18 points.
Kyogo Furuhashi scored either side of a Jordan White penalty and Arne Engels netted a late spot kick for the visitors before Luke McCowan added a fourth.
Celtic took the lead in the 40th minute when Alistair Johnston made a trademark run up the right and his low cross was met first time by Kyogo, who put his finish beyond Jordan Amissah.
The County goalkeeper was at his best to deny Adam Idah and then Kyogo just after the opener but it remained 1-0 to the visitors at half-time.
The hosts got their chance to level after an hour of play when Johnston was judged to have nudged County debutant Kieran Phillips in the box. Jordan White stepped up and sent Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way to make it 1-1.
Celtic scored the goal that put them back in front with ten minutes to go. Arne Engels was the provider this time, whipping in a cross that Kyogo headed powerfully into the back of the net.
And the visitors ensured victory with a late penalty when James Brown fouled Yang. Arne Engels took responsibility from the spot and though Amissah saved, he was off his line and ta re-take was ordered. The Celtic midfielder nailed the second attempt to make it 3-1.
Luke McCowan then got in on the scoring, showing good composure to slot in a fourth goal.
The win extends Celtic’s lead over Rangers at the top of the table to 18 points ahead of the Ibrox side’s home match against St Johnstone on Sunday.
