Rangers’ move for striker Ryan Naderi is likely to be completed during the summer window.
The 22-year-old is currently plying his trade in the third tier of German football with Hansa Rostock, who are battling for promotion.
Naderi began his career in his home town of Dresden but moved to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2021 and played for their second team.
A move to Hansa followed in 2024 and after a promising first season where he scored five times, he’s made a big contribution to their promotion push this term.
Although the move to Glasgow is more likely to be sealed in the summer window, depending on other business, Naderi could be named as a new Gers player by 11pm on Monday.
Rangers have already been busy in the January window as they look to put together a squad that can beat Hearts and Celtic to the Premiership trophy.
Midfielder Tochi Chukwuani, left-back Tuur Rommens and winger Andreas Skov Olsen have all been added to Rohl’s group of players.
