Scotland manager Steve Clarke is speaking to the media in the final press conference before taking on Spain in Sevilla.
The national team only need a point from the game on Thursday night to secure qualification to Euro 2024.
However, even if they lose the game they can still book their place at the tournament being held next summer if Norway fail to win in Cyprus.
They currently sit top of Group A after five wins from their opening five games.
Scotland don’t have any more qualifiers in this international break, but if results don’t go their way on Thursday their second consecutive European Championships can become a reality on Sunday if Spain beat Norway in Oslo.
Failing that they will have another two group games, against Georgia in Tbilisi and the Norwegians at Hampden, to get the reach the required points.
Kieran Tierney, Ryan Jack and Kevin Nisbet have all dropped out of the squad with injuries and Hearts forward Lawrence Shankland has not been selected.
Celtic left-back Greg Taylor and Leeds defender Liam Cooper have been brought back in to the fold after missing out in the win over Cyprus last month.
