Steve Clarke has named his Scotland squad for next month’s double-header against Greece and Belarus, as the national team looks to build on a strong start to World Cup qualifying.
Scotland began their campaign with a 0-0 draw against top seeds Denmark in Copenhagen, and followed that with a 2-0 victory away to Belarus.
With only four games more to play in the short qualification campaign, Clarke knows positive results will be needed from the upcoming match at Hampden on October 9 against Greece and when Belarus visit the national stadium three days later.
The head coach has made a change to his goalkeeper selection with fit-again Craig Gordon replacing Hearts teammate Zander Clark. Liam Kelly and Angus Gunn are the other two keepers selected.
Grant Hanley, Jack Hendry, Aaron Hickey, Scott McKenna, Anthony Ralston, Andy Robertson, John Souttar and Kieran Tierney are the selected defenders, as Max Johnston and Dom Hyam drop out of the squad.
The midfield sees Ryan Christie, Lewis Ferguson, Ben Gannon-Doak, Billy Gilmour, John McGinn, Kenny McLean, Scott McTominay and Lennon Miller picked.
And Clarke’s forward selection is similarly unchanged as Che Adams, Kieron Bowie, Lyndon Dykes and George Hirst are called up.
Clarke will address the media on Tuesday at lunchtime, and you can watch his full media conference on this page from noon.
