Scotland’s World Cup play-off against Ukraine due to be played this month has been postponed over the ongoing crisis in the country.
The teams were scheduled to meet at Hampden on March 24 but it is likely to be moved to the summer, likely June.
The Ukraine FA asked Fifa and Uefa for the game to be delayed and the governing bodies have agreed to this.
The winner of the one-off game will travel to take on the winner of Austria and Wales for a place at Qatar 2022 which is being held throughout November and December.
The Austria vs Wales game will still take place as planned this month.
The Ukranian league has also been cancelled over the crisis that has also seen Russian teams banned from competing from UEFA competitions and the Champions League final moved from St Petersburg to Paris.
Scotland haven’t qualified for a men’s World Cup since 1998.
