Rangers have made five changes from Steven Gerrard’s last game in charge for their League Cup semi-final vs Hibs.
New manager Giovanni Van Bronckhorst will be in the stands for the game as the interim management set up of David McCallum, Brian Gilmour, Colin Stewart and Jermain Defoe take charge of the team.
Borna Barisic, Scott Arfield, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara and Alfredo Morelos, who all either missed or were on the bench for the 4-2 win over Ross County before the international break, return to the starting line-up.
McGregor starts with a back four of Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun and Barisic in front of him and Davis, Kamara and Arfield making up the midfield behind Aribo, Kent and Morelos.
Rangers are hoping to reach their first cup final since the 2019 defeat to Celtic in the same competition.
Meanwhile Hibs will line up with Macey, McGinn, Porteous, Hanlon, Doig, Boyle, Newell, Doyle-Hayes, Cadden, Campbell and Nesbit.
The Easter Road side, who lost last season’s Scottish Cup final, are looking to reach their first League Cup final since the 2015/16 season.
Hibs currently sit at seventh in the Scottish Premiership with Rangers at the top.
The League Cup semi-final will kick-off at Hampden Park at 4pm on Sunday.
The winners will go on to play Celtic, who defeated St Johnstone 1-0 on Saturday, in the final next month.
