Six SPFL games due to take place this weekend have been called off amid extreme weather conditions caused by Storm Babet.
A rare red weather warning has been issued for parts of the country with the storm bringing heavy winds and rainfall.
The SPFL confirmed on Friday that six games have fallen victim to the storm with two of those in the Premiership.
Aberdeen v Dundee and St Johnstone v Motherwell are the two top-flight games confirmed as being postponed, with the rest in the lower divisions.
In the Championship, Arbroath v Raith Rovers, in League One Cove Rangers v Montrose and League two games Stenhousemuir v Peterhead and Elgin v Forfar are all also postponed.
It comes after large parts of Scotland were battered by the storm from Thursday onwards.
The ‘life-threatening weather’ is expected to continue into Saturday with a second red alert coming into force from midnight covering parts of the north east.
Calum Beattie, SPFL chief operating officer, said: “We have been in close contact with Police Scotland and our clubs and it’s clear that we continue to face very severe weather, particularly in the north east, in the coming days.
“We never postpone any matches lightly, but our discussions with the emergency services left us in no doubt that this was the correct decision.”
