The draw for the group stage of the Premier Sports Cup has been completed, with clubs learning who they will face in their first competitive fixtures of next season.

All SPFL clubs, with the exception of the five representatives in European competition, will take the first steps on what they hope will be a journey to Hampden and a chance to lift the first major trophy of the season.

The sides have been split into eight groups of five teams, with each playing four matches in the group stage.

The eight group winners and three best runners-up will join the five clubs who qualified for Europe – Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hibernian and Dundee United – in the last 16

The group stage begins on July 12/13 and is played over four matchdays, concluding on July 26/27. A full fixture list and TV selections will be published in due course.
