St Johnstone have announced the signing of goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal from Hearts on an emergency loan to cover the Scottish Cup semi-final.
The Perth club have been dealt a blow with news that four players will miss the Hampden clash with St Mirren following a Covid-19 outbreak.
St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson had been sweating over the fitness of Zander Clark, whose heroics helped the side knock Rangers out in the quarter-finals, but the keeper has been declared fit.
However, Saints have still moved to bring in Zlamal on a seven-day loan.
The Hearts goalkeeper previously played for St Mirren in three games earlier this season when coronavirus hit the Paisley club’s squad.
