St Mirren’s Charles Dunne is available to play against Dundee on Wednesday after winning his appeal against a red card shown last weekend.
Dunne was sent off by referee Willie Collum after a collision with Sebastian Soto during the 1-1 Premiership draw with Livingston on Saturday.
The centre-back protested his innocence and St Mirren opted to appeal the decision through the Scottish FA’s fast track system.
An independent panel reviewed the case and decided to downgrade the punishment to a yellow card.
That frees Dunne for selection to play at Dens Park on Wednesday in new manager Stephen Robinson’s first game in charge.
Robinson was announced as St Mirren’s new manager on Tuesday, with the Northern Irishman leaving Morecambe to succeed Jim Goodwin in Paisley.
He takes over a Saints side that are currently seventh in the Premiership table but will move up into fourth if they win their game against Dundee.
