Greg Taylor and Liam Cooper have earned returns to the Scotland squad for October’s international double header against Spain and France.
The defensive duo have been brought in to replace Kieran Tierney after the Real Sociedad defender suffered a hamstring injury in the Basque derby win over Athletic Bilbao.
Luton Town forward Jacob Brown and Motherwell’s Liam Kelly are also included among Steve Clarke’s settled party for the Euro 2024 qualifier in Seville and the friendly against the French in Lille.
Rangers’ Robbie McCrorie and Hearts forward Lawrence Shankland are also left out having been included in the pool that faced Cyprus and England last month.
There is also no place for Newcastle United’s Elliott Anderson, who dropped out of the squad last month amid rumours he had chosen to declare for England.
The Scotland boss has retained much of his squad that have carried the Tartan Army through the qualification campaign with a 100% record so far.
Scotland could book their place in Germany with a win at La Cartuja, but will also qualify without kicking a ball if Norway do anything less than win against the Spanish when they face off in Oslo on Sunday.
