Dundee United have completed the signing of winger Amar Fatah from French Ligue 2 club Troyes on a season-long loan.
Fatah has spent the last two seasons on loan at Belgian outfit Lommel and Dutch side Willem II respectively, and earned his first call-up to the Sweden Under-21 squad last year.
The 21-year-old becomes the eighth signing of the summer so far for United, who are looking to improve on last season’s fourth-place finish.
Boss Jim Goodwin told the Tangerines’ website: “The signing of Amar represents a real coup for the club – he’s a player who arrives with tremendous pedigree despite his youth.
“A player who thrives in one-versus-one scenarios, we feel Amar will excite our supporters with his pace, creativity and quality in the final third.
“We also believe we have cultivated the perfect environment and culture for him to develop even further, and we’re eager to help him take the next step in his journey whilst simultaneously strengthening Dundee United.”
