Celtic captain Callum McGregor has made a surprise return to the Celtic lineup for Wednesday’s Old Firm derby, while Amad Diallo makes his derby debut for Rangers.
Scotland international McGregor missed two matches after suffering a facial injury in the Scottish Cup win over Alloa.
But he is expected to wear a face-mask in order to speed up his comeback and take his place on the pitch.
Celtic have been further boosted by Daizen Maeda’s return from international duty, with the Japanese striker on the bench.
Matt O’Riley, who signed last month from MK Dons, and Japanese midfielder Reo Hatate are among the players making their first derby appearance.
The match comes too soon for Rangers’ star signing Aaron Ramsey, who is short of match fitness having rarely featured for Juventus this season.
However, Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo has been given the nod and will make his first Old Firm derby appearance for the Ibrox club.
Kemar Roofe replaces Cedric Itten in attack for Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s side.
