Dundee FC has confirmed that two players have tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of their league clash against Hibernian.
The results follow the club’s scheduled testing earlier in the week.
The players returned positive lateral flow and PCR tests and are now isolating.
The club said it is cooperating with the authorities and no other players are required to isolate.
The Dark Blues are due to kickoff against Hibs at midday on Sunday at Dens Park.
Boss James McPake wants to hear Dundee fans make all the noise when Hibs visit Tayside.
A statement read: “Dundee Football Club can confirm that our scheduled testing earlier this week for Covid-19 returned two positive tests.
“Following positive lateral flows and PCR tests both players are now isolating.
“The club is cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities who have determined there is no need for others to isolate as a result.”
