Hibernian have completed the sale of Demetri Mitchell to Exeter City for an undisclosed fee.
The left-sided wide player has agreed to join Gary Caldwell’s Exeter, ending a disappointing 12-month stay at Easter Road.
Mitchell was on the books at Manchester City and had two spells at Hearts on loan but after a spell at Blackpool, he move north to sign for Hibs in January of last year.
He played only 10 times , making his last appearance against Ross County in November. Mitchell’s two Hibs goals came against Livingston and Arbroath.
The 26-year-old will now look to relaunch his career under Caldwell, who he worked under when the Exeter boss was a coach at Easter Road.
Hibs manager Lee Johnson said: “This is a good move for Demi as it gives him the opportunity to play regular football again.
“We’d like to thank him for his hard work and wish him all the best for the future.”
