Aesthetics professionals have told STV News a new bill to regulate procedures like Botox and dermal fillers is “unfair” and will drive the industry underground.

Under new proposals, clinics must have medically trained professionals on site – like nurses and dentists – to be able to carry out so-called “tweakments”.

Medics have hailed the changes as a “vital step forward” in improving patient safety but say it should go even further.
