After more than a decade of tireless campaigning, an Angus family are pleased and relieved that restraint and seclusion in schools will be restricted in law.
Politicians unanimously supported what will be known as Calum’s Law, after Calum Morrison from Monifieth, who has learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy.
He was left traumatised after being restrained in school almost 16 years ago, sparking his family’s fight for change.
