Around 40 people have left Aberdeen University as the institution tries to make millions of pounds worth of savings.
In April, the university introduced voluntary severance and an enhanced retirement scheme after identifying a budget gap of £5.5m.
But unions fear uncertainty over the future of jobs, as it still has a deficit of £4.3m this academic year.
