Campaigners call for secondary breast cancer cases to be recorded

Campaigners say it will help make patients feel they're no longer invisible.

It’s a devastating diagnosis – being told you have breast cancer, which has spread elsewhere in your body and can’t be cured.

But we don’t know how many women in Scotland are in that situation because official statistics for it are not recorded.

Now campaigners are calling for that data to be collected, which they say will help make patients feel they’re no longer invisible.
