The former SNP leadership candidate Kate Forbes claims there’s now a “backlash to the backlash” over the Stand comedy club’s decision to axe a Fringe show with gender critical MP, Joanna Cherry.
Ms Cherry says she’ll now take the Edinburgh venue to court, unless it apologises and reinstates the show.
The chain of comedy clubs, which was co-founded by fellow SNP MP Tommy Sheppard, told STV News it wouldn’t comment and is now seeking its own legal advice.
