An investigation has revealed how seasonal workers on one of Scotland’s biggest fruit farms have raised concerns about overcrowding in the caravans they’re staying in.
At Castleton Farm in Aberdeenshire, we heard from workers who told us they sleep almost side by side in shared bedrooms in the static caravans – conditions they say gives them no privacy or dignity.
After seeing the pictures, the First Minister called it “unacceptable,” “deeply troubling,” and promised to look into the issue.
