Plans to transform a army barracks facilty into a residence for asylum seekers remain the subject of debate from politicians on both side of the border.
The Ministry of Defence has confirmed it’s spent £56,000 on preparing Cameron Barracks to be used a base for up to 300 people.
Highland Council says nobody has been moved in as yet, whileand a Highland MSP has told STV news he doubts the move will happen at all.
