A disabled Edinburgh councillor says she faces a “daily, demoralising battle” to access the city chambers, and has to attend council meetings using a goods entrance round the back of the listed building.
Kayleigh O’Neill, who uses a wheelchair, says she’s now wary of encouraging other disabled people to get into politics because of these challenges.
Charities warn disabled people are being excluded from everyday life.
