Disabled man inspired by world’s strongest to take up weightlifting

Richard Sutherland took up weightlifting after being inspired by a fellow Highlander.

An Inverness man is proving disability is no barrier to success in the world of weightlifting after taking up the sport just a few months ago.

Richard Sutherland, who has Down’s syndrome, says he’s inspired by fellow Highlander and the World’s Strongest Man, Tom Stoltman.
