Electricity providers need to ‘raise their game’ after thousands of customers endured an ‘unacceptable service’ in the aftermath of Storm Arwen. More than a hundred thousand homes were left without power after high winds and snow battered parts of the country in November last year.

Today the industry watchdog Ofgem said too many households received poor communication and some compensation payments took too long. Steven Brown reports.
