Energy connector from Scotland to England given go-ahead

It's part of a series of projects to help move renewable power around the country.

A new, so-called “electricity superhighway” that will help transport renewable power between Scotland and England has been given the go-ahead by regulators.

The Eastern Green Link Two, as it’s known, will start in Peterhead and could help provide enough electricity to power up to two million homes.
