Entire generation of Scots failed, say disability campaigners

Disability campaigners say they hope authorities, businesses and service providers can do better.

It’s thirty years since the Disability Discrimination Act was passed, but campaigners say an entire generation of Scots has been failed by a lack of disabled access.

The charity Euan’s Guide says a survey of almost 7,000 people found issues such as not being able to get into venues or a lack of suitable toilets.
