A police officer who urged a vulnerable young woman to destroy evidence he was having a sexual relationship with her has been jailed.
Donaldson, who was based in Dalkeith, had previously pled guilty to attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He had been on duty when he first met the woman – she’d been a victim of crime and was just seventeen years old at the time.
