Family begins charity relay run to save daughter’s sight

There is currently nothing to cure Caitlin's condition

It’s a rare genetic condition – with only seven known cases in Scotland.

Now an Angus family is heading up a relay from John O’Groats to Lands End to help treat Bardet Biedl Syndrome.

Inspired by their 8-year-old daughter Caitlin, who was diagnosed with the condition in 2017, people will run, walk and cycle to try to save her sight.
