A Scottish woman has died while undergoing gastric band surgery in Turkey.
Shannon Bowe, from Denny, near Falkirk, passed away during the procedure on Saturday.
In tributes to the 28-year-old, friends and family said they were “devastated”.
It comes amid a rise in the number of people travelling abroad for cosmetic surgery, and the family of a woman who died after a tummy tuck are today warning others of the dangers.
