Figures show more than 160,000 barrels of oil split in sea

Campaigners say it's impacting on marine wildlife and proves why oil drilling must stop

The oil industry has been accused of operating ‘out of sight and out of mind’ after new figures show the equivalent of more than 160,000 barrels of oil have spilled into the North Sea in the past five years.

But the industry say they’re working hard to reduce spills and its a fraction of the overall production.
